Character design and creation.

 

This character is created from my own concept. It was sculpted using Zbrush, and then retopologized with TopoGun. Then I baked the details in a normal map, and extracted an occlusion map. Based on this I textured the character in Photoshop.

 

As you can see in the images below, I had some design changes further down the line. I removed his helmet because it didn't fit the exposed look in the rest of the armor, and gave him a viking-like beard. I also changed the shoulderpiece, because the sharp shape of it didn't go well with the round shapes in the rest of the design. And I changed the boots, since they looked impractical and grotesque.
